I'll see how long the husband would allow this to go on. HAHA. The weather is so cold here in the Midwest. I'm so sick and tired of snow. Seriously SPRING, are you coming soon? It's been too long!

Hello everyone! Sorry I have been MIA! It has been very stressful at work. Who knew that teaching could be so busy? Seriously, I still have homework every night! Don't get me wrong, I love teaching, but it can get very overwhelming due to all the testings. What happened to the good ol' school days? I feel like all I do now is prepare them for tests. SAD!

Anyway, I have had a few major hauls in between. I tried out the Philosophy line.......and I thought it was okay. I got the kit that included eye hope, purity face wash, and other facial moisturizers th (I'm not home yet so I can't tell yo the exact names). I love how the eye hope makes my under eye area feels, but honestly, I didn't see any difference using it. Good thing I got the sample kit. As for the purity face wash: I didn't notice anything. I used that alone when washing my face and I started to break out, so I went back to using Neutrogena's Acne Face wash and that cleared everything right up within a couple of days. Sometimes I think that high end products will give me better results....but I always go back to drugstore product.

No pictures today. I'll look too tired by the time I get home. Hopefully tomorrow morning I'll remember to take pictures before leaving to work!

My girl (dog) got a hair cut!

This morning Hazel, my doghter (dog+daughter), got her hair cut. $44! That's more than what I spend on myself! She looks much skinnier without all that tangled up hair. She HATES the comb. We were there for a little bit to watch how she reacts with other people and dogs. She was awesome.

Now, here's a little history on Hazel. She hates other dogs. HATES them. We've tried to socialize her with other dogs, but NOPE she's the BOSS!

But when she was in the store after we picked her up, she was awesome. She didn't even growl at other dogs walking by her. Interesting. Perhaps she's too sheltered at home. It's usually just the 3 of us. Or is it that we left her in a strange place and she was so scared? I don't know? If you have a dog (s), what are your stories/thoughts?

Hello fellow bloggers! I've been lacking posts because of the holidays and that we bought a new house! We've been super busy with moving and trying to get things ready to host my in laws for Christmas. It's been super crazy and hectic! We are very excited to be in a new place, but I really miss our apartment. Change is good, right? Now we'll be driving 45 minutes to an hour to get to work compared to 5 minutes in the past! YIKES! Good thing the husband and I work together!

As soon as we're all settled it, I'll be posting regularly. haha. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and have a wonderful New Year! See ya!

I'm sorry I was too lazy to take a picture of mine!

I love this mint julep masque! During my college years I used Avon's Porefection and it's very similar to this. I think they stopped producing the Avon one and I discovered this one from emilynoel from youtube. It leaves my face feeling refreshed and very soft. On days where I feel a zit surfacing, I put this on and the next morning, it's as if the zit came and was already on its way out! SERIOUSLY!

I did a very mini haul at ULTA today and my Beautymaker things are here....! Pictures will be posted soon!

Also, I hit PAN on two things! HAHA....!

It's been a very busy start this year in the education area. The batch of students I have this year is very chatty and curious. Classroom pictures will be up soon as well.

Hello everyone! Since work has started, I have been totally slacking. I don't know if I can keep up with you ladies! I work in a school, so my summer is now officially over! HAHA! I haven't been hauling at all. I've been reading some blogger's hauls, and I'm sooooo jealous! Seriously, my FOTD for work, is soooo simple. I don't even wear eyeliner. I guess it doesn't matter since I'm in a room all day with kids!

It's been a good long while since I've posted anything! I was in WI (4 hours away) for a Hmong ceremony for my husband's family to welcome me in. It was quite an experience. Got back home and then packed up and got ready to go camping with the kids from school. Boy, so much drama within a week. I wonder if my friends and I were that dramatic. It's interesting because my group of girls reminded me so much of my own friends when we were that age. They thought I was so cool because I knew exactly what they were going through. I told them that it's LIFE. Everyone goes through it. HAHA! They thought I brainwashed them while they were sleeping and that's how I know a lot about them. So funny. It was a long week with them, but I had lots of fun and I realized that I can survive teaching middle schoolers. High school students on the other hand.....dunno. :P I've been recovering and trying to catch up on sleep. For a few nights it was freezing cold at camp! Seriously, I went to sleep with windbreakers on, with socks and had my windbreakers tucked in....a long sleeve shirt and a sweater with the hood on. It was COLD! So much for summer this year. So for a week, no make up...no trendy outfits...LOL! I did manage my skin routine in! WHEW!

I have no pictures to share for this post. Just some random thoughts. I'll be in a wedding this weekend. One more wedding after this one then weddings are done! Geesh....this year has been so crazy with weddings.....mine included.

Hello! So I haven't blogged about makeup lately since the wedding. HAHA. Anyway, I lost my favorite liquid eyeliner by Maybelline . I'm so sad. I went to 2 Targets and a Walgreen! Nothing. Sighs. So, I'm settling with the Revlon one for now.

Life Update

Today I woke up feeling stressed. I got a great night's sleep, but I'll be getting married in less than 2 weeks. I don't think of myself as a perfectionist, but I'm starting to turn into BRIDEZILLA! Like I've mentioned before, the wedding is NOT fancy like those you see in the magazines, but HEY, I do want it to go smooth. I think I've just been letting all the small things get to me. WHY? DUNNO!

Anyway, I'm also feeling very nervous about the BIG DAY. I think this is normal. I'm going to be marrying my best friend, Mr. XXV. He makes me super happy and always hears me out! I'm so lucky. I always tell him that I can' believe we're getting married...I mean we're pretty much married "culturally" already, but to legalize it...... 8|.

We have pretty much everything ready to go and YES, I will post up pictures when the event is done and over with! My childhood BF will be flying in on Wednesday the 9th from Cali! I haven't seen her since 2001! Here are some SUPER old pictures of her and me!

The palette does have different finishes. From mattes to satins to shimmers. This is why I love this palette.

Here they are. If you click on the picture, you'll see which one is matte, satin or shimmer. I personally like the satin and shimmer ones better because the are a lot more pigmented and easier to blend.

Coastalscents Haul & Clinique all about eyes & Lash Building Primer review

I got 3 brush guards (they missed one so it's being shipped to be now), a jumbo fan brush, an angled liner brush and the 88 Warm palette! They also included a sample! I don't really like to use pigments, so I'll just give that to my sisters!

I love the colors! They're soooooo versatile!!

My camera battery died, so I found this online. I bought this awhile back with my CCO haul. The smell is very faint, and it goes away pretty quick. I've used this for about a month. Honestly it does nothing to my eyes, besides making them feel soft. It's suppose to tone down the puffiness of the eyes. It did nothing for me. I bought it for about $21. It was not worth it.

As for this....I've heard great things about this, so I tried it out. NOTHING! It does not work for me! I used this for about 3 weeks. It does not keep in my curled lashes. I curl my lashes, apply this, then my lashes are back to its originally form....STRAIGHT! I bought this for $10 at CCO.

It's been too long since I've updated! I've been super busy cleaning up my classroom and hanging out with my sisters.....One just got back from Korea and another just graduated! I will post pictures ASAP! The one that got back from Korea purchased some Faceshop makeup. I had asked her to look for some things for me, but I guess she was a huge "foreigner" and just went to the markets and tourist sites. GEEZ! I'll show what she got for me very soon!

Fuz has inspired me to try some Beautymaker products. I'm going to order them tonight when I get home!

I can't believe I'll be getting married in 36 days. I wasn't stressed about "the wedding", but now as we are approaching it, I'm so nervous......I'm not the typical bride--one who wants everything to be perfect! It's not even a huge fancy wedding! LOL!

So I was able to do a little shopping over the long, tiring weekend!! I gave in a purchased a couple of MAC items. I've heard so much about this brand and I decided to see what the hype was all about. My makeup theory is what ever makes me look nice, I will buy. So far the blushes are nice. So I'm going to test out a few more MAC brands and perhaps a few more high end makeup brands. Here I go!
